June 5, 2017 New Britain Ct. Dori Aleksandrowicz, the newest member of BFSC, joined the team for her first race in blue and green and her natural enthusisam made her an instant friend to all. However, the celebration was cut short on the final lap that averaged a stiff 25.2 mph. Dori was mid pack with a half lap to go, feeling good, when a rider swerved and clipped Dori’s front wheel launching Dori to the pavement pretty hard. Lots of bruises, scrapes and a broken collarbone was the result. This is Dori’s first year racing and we will be so glad when she gets back to action joining Lisa and Loraine for some more racing.
